Richard has come late to Blue Heat, joining the band from his home town of Mildura in northern Victoria. With a varied background in music, including some jazz influences, he has provided the final polish for the band's already formidible cutting edge.
Equally capable of playing a supporting role, or
leading the band himself, the stage really heats up when Richard lets fly.
He trades lead breaks with both Marco and
Bradley like a man possessed, his face
contorted with the passion he feels.
Yet off stage, he is a quieter man, self-effacing and modest about his talents. It could be that we are yet to hear the best from this man.
